SPEEDING UP IN THE DREAM CAR KART 🏁
Hello, drivers and speed enthusiasts! This is GRAFE Racing here for our first big kart track review mission! And to kick off our posts, we've chosen a place that already starts with an incredible unique feature: Dream Car Kart, located inside the famous Dream Car Museum.
Is the experience of racing on a go-kart track surrounded by classic cars and supercars worth it? We put on our helmets and went to find out...
Technical Sheet:
Full Name: Dream Car Kart
Location: Estrada do Vinho (SPV-077), 7901 - Canguera, São Roque - SP, 18145-002. (Inside the Dream Car Museum)
Accessibility: Easily accessible via Estrada do Vinho in São Roque. The location offers ample parking, which is a major plus for those arriving by car. The area is touristy and well-signposted. On the day we went, we paid R$ 35.00 for parking.
Opening Hours, Tickets and/or Reservations: The location offers various attractions with different schedules and prices. Access the link to check information, including for kart racing: https://dreamcarmuseu.com.br

The Track:
The big question is: what's it like to race there?Well, from what we understand, the track layout changes from time to time (common in most kart tracks). We found a really nice track, with straights that allowed for high acceleration and medium-speed corners.
In addition, the track is quite wide and spacious, which greatly facilitates overtaking, especially if there are slower cars during your race. The track also has a good length (from what we researched, it's approximately 500 meters), which allows you to develop an interesting speed and a good battle with your opponents.
Speaking of the asphalt, it was very good and we noticed that the karts had good grip. We went on a very sunny day, with the track completely dry. In other words, it was possible to race well, without fear of spinning out...
Finally, our session was with about 10 people, lasting 20 minutes (5 for qualifying and 15 for the race). I don't remember the maximum number of drivers on the track right now; it's best to confirm the maximum limit per session with the team there. Speaking a little about the price, a week before going there, we paid a promotional price of R$ 79.90 that they advertised on social media (Instagram).
Karts and Equipment:
The karts and equipment were of good quality, especially considering the rental karts. They have 6.5 HP, ideal for the track and for having fun, a standard in many karting tracks.Regarding equipment such as gloves, helmet, balaclava, protectors, and racing suits, we ended up not using those available at the karting track, since we have our own, but they all seemed extremely clean and of good quality. Remember that there is an extra cost for renting the racing suit; other items are already included in the price of the session.
Structure and Services:
Besides the racetrack, the place itself has excellent infrastructure. The space includes a vintage car museum, an amusement park with a mini Ferris wheel for the little ones, as well as restaurants and cafes for all tastes and budgets to fill your stomach or grab a cold drink (be careful... if you're the driver, don't drink... haha). There are also convenience stores with various options for buying toys, miniature cars, t-shirts, mugs, glasses and much more...Something we also really liked was the internal plaza, a truly pleasant and charming little "boulevard" where you can enjoy it, take photos with the people you're with, eat something, have a beer or a draft beer, in short, you have to go there to see it...
Photos of the day:
In short:
We believe that for kart racing fans, it's an excellent place to go on a weekend and enjoy everything the place has to offer. Remember that, in addition to the track, the location has excellent infrastructure for families, children, or friends.Besides restaurants and shops selling various souvenirs, there's a car museum, an amusement park for children, and even an attraction where you can take a ride in two dream supercars: Porsche and Ferrari, or even participate in a drift show from inside the car, in the passenger seat...
It's definitely a place we'll be back to again, guys...
That's all for today, and until the next post, everyone...
